Traffic Staging Update – IL 126 and Naperville Road

Beginning 5/2 (weather permitting), the contractor will be updating the traffic control for stage 1 configurations related to the reconstruction work on IL 126 and Naperville Road.

Summary of Stage 1 Traffic Control and Construction Activity

IL 126

1. Traffic will be shifted to the west
2. The east side of IL 126 will be constructed
3. Estimated Duration: 8 weeks (weather permitting)

Naperville Road

1. Traffic will be shifted to the east onto the temporary pavement
2. The west side of Naperville Road will be constructed
3. Estimated Duration: 5 weeks (weather permitting)

Motorists can expect longer than average travel times through the work zone and should be on the look out for workers and equipment within the work zone. Trucks may be entering and exiting so please use caution and slow down.
