The contractor continues with roadway construction of 143rd St. Work was delayed last month due to frequent rain events and Johnson Road will remain closed until mid-September. The detour route directs traffic to utilize IL Route 126.
Weather permitting, road work will resume on 143rd St./Johnson Road next week and storm sewer install will begin.
