This week the contractor completed demolition of the houses on the north side of 143rd Street at Naperville Road, placed topsoil in 143rd Street median and parkways, poured curb and sidewalk at Naperville Road and on IL 126, and poured median surface on 143rd Street. The contractor also began installing fence panels along Fletcher Lake, placed HMA shoulder between the curb and MSE wall along Fletcher Lake, installed lighting conduit along 143rd Street, completed paving driveways along Naperville Road, and began installing guardrail along 143rd Street along the Fletcher Lake MSE wall.
Next week the contractor will continue installation of the fence panels and guardrail along Fletcher Lake, as well as placement of topsoil, landscaping, traffic signal and lighting conduits and foundations. Additional work will include pouring remaining curb, sidewalk, and pavement at 143rd Street and Naperville Road.
