This week the contractor completed the remaining storm sewer work at IL 126 and Naperville Road, installed rebar and poured bridge approach pavement, poured pavement sections at the 143rd Street and IL 126 intersection, cleaned the Fletcher Lake retaining wall and began staining, prepped for pavement between Naperville Road and the bridge, began earthwork for the bike path connection under the west side of the bridge and graded ditches along Naperville Road.
Next week the contractor will continue grading operations and storm sewer installation west of the bridge, prep the subbase for pavement between Naperville Road and IL 126, continue preparing for the bridge parapet pour, begin installation of the bicycle railing on the bridge, and potentially place asphalt on Naperville Road.
