This week the contractor began removing temporary gravel construction road, continued parapet reinforcement, installed sight screen fence sleeves, and began drilling holes in the bridge deck for connectors and the bicycle railing.
Next week, the contractor will work on the stone base along 143rd Street between Naperville Road and IL 126, build and reinforce the foundations for the west gateway monument, continue work on the bridge edge walls, deck connectors, and bike railing, perform concrete pavement, curb, and support slab work along Naperville Road, and continue removing the temporary gravel construction road.
