The contractor for the 143rd Street East Extension project will be working overnight on IL Route 59 from approximately 8 pm on Friday, April 11 to 5 am on Saturday, April 12. The work will consist of constructing the new left turn lane pavement within the median area. This will allow the reopening of two northbound lanes and a left turn lane to westbound 143rd Street. Please be aware of additional construction vehicles and personnel while this work is occurring.
