Concrete paving of 143rd Street between Naperville Road and IL 126 is anticipated to begin (weather dependent) on Thursday, May 21st and continue the following week. There are several thousand cubic yards of concrete involved in this work. As a result of this quantity, the workdays will be longer than usual. The newly poured concrete will then need to have controlled contraction joints saw cut into the surface. The saw cutting work will occur overnight as soon as the concrete can support the equipment and manpower. This related work will take time and is by its nature, loud. The Village appreciates the patience and understanding of the surrounding property owners while this crucial work takes place.
