Beginning 3/13, the contractor will set up traffic control for pre-stage configurations related to the widening work on IL 126 and Naperville Road.
Summary of Pre-Stage Traffic Control and Construction Activity
IL 126
- Traffic will be shifted towards the center of the road
- Temporary and permanent pavement will be constructed along the outside of the road
- New drainage will be installed along IL 126
- Estimated Duration: 6 weeks (weather permitting)
Naperville Road
- Traffic will be shifted slightly to the west
- Temporary pavement will be constructed along the east side of the road
- New drainage will be installed
- Estimated Duration: 6 weeks (weather permitting)
Motorists can expect longer than average travel times through the work zone and should be on the look out for workers and equipment within the work zone. Trucks may be entering and exiting so please use caution and slow down.
